ORGANIC GREEN GRAM SEEDS PRESERVATION:  After harvest  of green gram we have to keep some of the produce for seed purpose for the next season.I have used wood ash& neem leaves as preservation agents.
1)We have to  sieve green gram for bold seeds.
2)sun drying for two days.
3)When  we bite the seed it must be hard.
4)add sieved wood ash&fresh  neem leaves to the heap
5)mix all &kept in double gunny bags with tight hand sieving.
6)the sieved gunny bag is kept in well ventilated spot.
                                  Care must be taken not to disturb the gunny bag till next sowing season.so we will have our seeds for future.these seeds will be viable for 2-3 years.only we have to sun drying  if the seeds are not used.we can use any edible oil to make a thin coating to the thoroughly sun dried pulse seeds &pack in a gunny bag  for the next season without pest attack
